Kickass articles at a great price.
Let me worry about finding the words for your thoughts.
Do you need top-quality web content?
I can provide it!
I’ve been a full-time freelance writer since 2009, and I’m a marketer myself. If there’s one secret I’ve learned, it’s that the secret to being successful is by getting people interested, and the secret to getting people interested is…
Original, well-written content.
It really is that simple. Google loves naturally keyword-rich content that’s written by a native English speaker with care and attention. More importantly, visitors love this kind of content, and they will make you rich or famous on the web!
I can write the kind of content that people love.
Your success on the internet literally depends on the content you have. If you’re in need of articles, I can help. If you have a blog, I can help. If you need ebooks and short reports to sell or give away, I can help.
So, why should you hire me?
There are plenty of writers out there, right? Some people make the mistake of choosing cheap writers that produce cheap content… and then they wonder why their enterprises fail! Success is dependent upon content. That brings me to my first reason why you should hire me…
1. I’m a native English speaker with a passion for the language.
Make no mistake, writing is hard! Most people don’t really like it, and it shows. It’s hard for non-native English writers to learn the tricky grammatical rules that can make or break a sentence — and your entire site.
2. I’m reliable and respond quickly.
I pride myself on over-delivering. When I say your articles will be done by Tuesday, they will be done by Tuesday, and with the quality that you’ll come to expect from me. Revision requests are handled on time, and for free (to a reasonable extent) so you know you’ll get just what you want from my articles.
3. I do it all myself.
I don’t hire ghostwriters or use article spinning software… why would I bother? The voice of the articles would not be mine, and I’d probably have to rewrite the articles anyway. Plus, machines cannot possibly write articles that are anything more than “decent”, or maybe “good” if you’re lucky. Every article you get was written by me, 100 percent.
4. My rates are reasonable.
Believe me, I know how much my writing is worth! I refuse to compete with the crappy $2 article writers you can find anywhere. This ensures I can devote care and attention to your articles. I don’t charge outrageous prices, because I believe everyone should be able to fill their site with high-quality content.
5. I’m versatile and flexible.
I have experience writing about many different niches, and if I don’t know about it, I’ll research it properly. None of this “recycling what crappy articles say” stuff with me — I’ll look up real sources to make sure I’m providing truly useful content for your readers. I’m committed to providing meaningful content, no matter what topic I’m writing about.
So, what’s the bottom line?
I can help you make your fortune online. Take a look around my portfolio for my samples and pricing, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or to get started with your project!
I primarily write articles, blog posts, and ebooks for clients. If you need a service not listed here, contact me and we can negotiate a fair rate. At this time, I don’t do copywriting or email autoresponder series.
My specialty is writing physical product review articles for Amazon affiliates, but I love writing informational pieces, too.
Pricing
I charge $0.03/word for articles, short reports, and ebooks of any length. One standard, affordable rate covers nearly everything.
Articles
I’m typically asked to write articles of 350 to 1200 words, and though the 500-word article has been king for quite some time, thanks to Panda updates and the devaluation of backlinks, 1000-word articles are starting to become more common now. My prices for some common orders would be:
400 words: $12 per article
500 words: $15 per article
1000 words: $30 per article
10 x 500 words: $150 total
Short Reports and Ebooks
Typically, I write ebooks from 2,000 words to 10,000 words, depending on the client and niche. Formatting is not included in the price, but if you contact me, I can provide a reasonable quote for this service, too. I can deliver your short report or ebook in PDF, Open Office format, or Word format, ready for you to sell!
Payment Methods
I accept payment via Paypal or credit card through Paypal. I ask for 50% payment upfront, the other half to be paid by you within one week of my delivery of the completed work unless otherwise stated.
International Customers
All my rates are listed in USD, but I can accept payment in other currencies. Just contact me and I can provide you with the equivalent prices in your currency. I can also write in Canadian English if required.
For an idea of my writing style and quality, take a look at these articles I have written.
You can also see a portfolio of articles I have had published on various websites at the bottom of the page.

Getting Past the Stammering: How to Ask Someone Out
© 2009 by Zabrina
Do you consider yourself confident in every area of life? Are you sure this always extends to dating? Even the most confident and self-assured person can falter or feel nervous when it comes to asking someone out on a date. It’s easy to be intimidated by someone we feel is better than us or has the power to accept or reject us. Sometimes you don’t even know how to approach them! To make matters worse, whenever you experience rejection you feel less inclined to try asking someone out again and start feeling negative about yourself.
There is a way out of this cycle, however! You can ask someone out without stammering, tripping over your words, or seeming like an awkward klutz, if you know what to do.
Figure out why.
Are you really asking them out for a good reason? If so, know what it is, but don’t over-emphasize it when actually doing the asking. This can seem like you’re desperately trying to flatter them, which isn’t a good idea. Simply saying, “I think you’re cute” is good enough.
Do it simply.
Don’t try an eloquent invitation, a pickup line, or a long lead-up to the question. A simple conversation, then a small compliment, then asking whether they want to meet up for coffee sometime is a great way to go. This puts minimal pressure on you both regardless of his or her answer.
Ask them aside.
If you’re in public or either of you are around friends, don’t subject them to everyone else listening in on their decision. Make sure the two of you are out of earshot of anyone who might care before you ask, or it could seem like you’re trying to put unfair pressure on them. Besides, a “no” around their friends might actually be a “yes” if they have time to think about it without worrying about what their friends think.
Have a plan.
If you get an affirmative response, try to have a location and time in mind already to make things easier on them. Stammering an, “Uhh, I dunno, maybe a restaurant? I guess?” makes you look like you didn’t think about it at all before you asked them.
Also, have a plan for what you’ll do if they say no. A simple, “Okay, have a good day,” followed by a quick exit is usually a good idea. Pestering them will lead to a pity date at most, and you don’t want to have that! (It could also land you in trouble if you’re seen to be harassing someone, plus, it just comes across as desperate and unattractive.) Try to have the self-confidence not to look too disappointed until you’re out of eyeshot.
Asking someone out is naturally intimidating, because it can feel like you’re asking for a huge favor from someone or begging them to take pity on you and acknowledge you. Don’t let this attitude shape your thoughts, however! You’re simply offering a compliment and initiating contact. Asking someone out doesn’t have to be a life-changing event, although if you manage to do it right and meet someone special because of it, it might well change your life!

Video Bait: How to Catch More Customers
© 2009 by Zabrina
Have you ever wanted to catch customers and reel ‘em in like fish? Well, you can… using online videos as bait.Viral videos are the latest trend in internet marketing. Everyone wants to create a video that “goes viral” and receives millions of hits within a few days or weeks with minimal production costs and a huge impact on their sales!
It’s difficult to attempt to create a viral video, since the chances of any particular video going viral, however clever and well-produced, are minimal. Yet the instinctive reaction of many is to simply abandon the concept of creating promotional videos.
The technique of creating promotional videos should not be abandoned so quickly, however! Even if your video content doesn’t go viral (and you should never assume that it will), there are many advantages to creating videos.
1. Videos are easy to produce
Everyone seems to think that videos take hours upon hours of time, makeup and hair artists, costumes, video producers with years of experience, and a lot of money to produce. In fact, videos are relatively easy to produce if you plan properly.
Make sure you have the script and setting planned, along with other technical details, so you don’t end up having to reschedule if you forgot something crucial. Plan a time to shoot the video and stick to it, and make sure you don’t take too long to shoot it. Editing and uploading the video should be relatively straightforward.
Customers don’t expect videos to be perfect, and will probably not even notice little imperfections that annoy you. Actually getting the video out there is much more important than making it perfect!
2. Videos put a face to your business’ name
Anyone can create some content, slap it onto a domain, and call it a business. If you’re exclusively online and don’t have a physical presence, it’s even harder to gain the respect of customers, and a reputation for being “personal” and easy to relate to.
With videos, customers can see the face of the CEO, employees, or business. Company websites have a reputation for being stiff and formal, difficult to “interact with”, but watching a video about a company makes a greater impact on customers than just reading text. It instills trust and gives them the feeling that they know you.
3. Videos are a permanent source of traffic
Once produced and uploaded, a video will usually garner an initial burst of interest and then dwindle a little. Don’t worry, though! The video will be a permanent source of traffic for your website. The more videos you release, the better you’ll do, just like large movie studios that don’t release just one film in a year.
Videos naturally grab people’s attention, so go ahead and use online promotional videos to “catch” yourself some customers!

Green Tea: Not Just a Drink
© 2009 by Zabrina
Four thousand years of history document the use of green tea for medicinal benefits. Today, people are beginning to recognize the potential of these leaves for a variety of natural medicinal benefits. But green tea leaves aren’t just useful for making tea.Once the tea has been used, dump the leaves into a strainer and press out as much moisture as you can. Then, spread them on unprinted paper in the sunlight and leave them there for a day or two, turning them over and replacing the paper with dry, fresh paper when necessary. Used, dried tea leaves are surprisingly useful; here are a few things to do with them.
1. Deodorizing
Used, dried green tea leaves are very useful for deodorizing various areas of your house. Crush them and sprinkle them on your pet’s bed, then vacuum them up. Try putting some in an uncovered bowl in your refrigerator for a few days, or even rub them over your hands after cutting fish, garlic, and other strongly scented foods.
2. Skin Care
Do you have puffy eyes? Green tea leaves will help. Pour some used, dried green tea leaves into a small cotton bag or two. Run water over the bag for a few moments until it’s damp, squeeze out the excess water, and then place the bag over your closed eyes for a few minutes.
3. Pillows
Green tea is rumored to help you get to sleep. If you don’t like regular pillows, you can try using dried leaves as alternative pillow filler. They’re lightly scented, but not enough to keep you awake. Just remember to air out your pillow once a week, so it doesn’t become musty.
4. Gardening
Green tea leaves can also be sprinkled near plant roots and buried with soil as a natural fertilizer, even if you used them to deodorize. The plants aren’t picky — it’s a nitrogen boost and might even help the plants to grow!
5. Carpet Cleaning
Crush some dried leaves and sprinkle them onto your carpet. Leave them for a few minutes while they absorb odors and clean, and then vacuum them up. The leaves help fight bacteria and odors, and as a bonus, they will even deodorize your vacuum bag.
Green tea leaves can serve many purposes around the house, so go ahead and treat yourself to a cup. Just remember to save those leaves after you’re done!

Overcoming Your Fear of Flying
© 2009 by Zabrina
When you think of airplanes, does a shiver of fear crawl down your spine? Does the thought of flying make you want to fly — out of your chair?
If so, you might suffer from aviophobia, which is the fear of flying. A study conducted in 1999 found that fifty percent of adults who flew on commercial airlines were afraid at least some of the time. Some fear is natural, but if this fear becomes debilitating, there’s hope yet.
Identify Your Fear
Many people find it useful to identify exactly what about flying scares them. For some, it’s the fear of heights, claustrophobia from being in an enclosed space for a long period of time, loss of control over their circumstances, or it could be something else entirely.
Educate Yourself
Some fears can be alleviated through simple education. While it might not make you feel completely safe, having a better idea how unlikely you are to suffer misfortune might help a little. Flying is actually much safer than driving and other methods of transportation. Research the statistics and see for yourself how unlikely you are to be involved in an airplane accident, and some of your fear might be alleviated.
Look up in advance which plane you’re going to be on. Find out what safety features it has, and pay particular attention during the safety presentation. If you’re particularly anxious, you could ask to be seated by the emergency exit. Understanding emergency procedures will make you more confident when the plane takes off.
Bring a Friend
If you have to fly alone, it will be harder to overcome the fear than if you have a trusted companion along. It’s important that he or she is not afraid of flying, too! Your friend will be able to reassure and support you as you overcome your fear. He or she should also know what to do in case of an emergency. Your friend can keep you distracted with small games, cards, puzzles, reading material, and light conversation, and remind you to relax.
Meet the Crew
Depending on the size of the flight, it might be possible for you to meet the cabin crew, pilot, and copilot. If your fear is caused by not knowing who is in charge of the plane, meeting these people and seeing how reliable and trustworthy they are will almost certainly help. You can often request this from the airline while booking tickets or checking in.
Self-Medicate Right
Don’t consume stimulants like sugar, caffeine, or alcohol before your flight. They will only make the symptoms of anxiety or panic attacks worse. If a medical professional diagnoses you, you might be able to get a prescription for relaxant drugs to take. If not, you can look into over-the-counter drugs. Some people have found herbal remedies that work equally well, but it’s best to test these before actually boarding the plane to ensure they will work for you.
With these tips, you can work to overcome your fear of flying!

Twitter and the #IranElection
© 2009 by Zabrina
Twitter is one of the buzzwords around the internet these days. You can find everyone talking about tweets, tweeps, twitpics, and more. The social networking site, which relies on messages of 140 characters or less, benefited from a sudden boost in popularity from extensive media coverage.
Iranian Election and Twitter
The Iran election protests, which began to break out on June 12th, 2009, relied largely on Twitter as a media of communication. Protesters alleged fraud in the elections, and the initially peaceful protests quickly grew violent.
The Iranian government cut off cellphone communications and text messages, closed universities, and blocked websites such as Twitter and Facebook.
Despite the government’s attempt to block Twitter, it soon became a vital tool for the protesters, and for foreign media outlets such as BBC News and CNN. Even Twitter recognized this, and delayed scheduled maintenance because its site was so important to the protesters.
Iranian protesters used proxies set up by networks of people throughout the rest of the world so they could access Twitter, since they were blocked from directly accessing it.
#iranelection and #gr88
Hashtags, a way of identifying tweets about a particular topic, were soon agreed upon and used by the protesters to spread news from the street. One of the main hashtags was identified as #iranelection, referring to the Iran election. The other, #gr88, was a contraction of the phrase “Green Revolution 1388”, meaning the protests over the election held in the Iranian calendar year 1388.
#neda
On June 20th, 2009, a Basij militiaman shot and killed a young Iranian woman by the name of Neda Agha-Soltan, who was watching protests. Bystanders captured amateur videos of her death and posted them on the internet, where they were rapidly spread. Neda soon became a symbol of the protests, with some calling her “the voice of Iran”. They drew the meaning from the fact that “Neda” is the Perso-Arabic word for “voice”, and many called her death martyr-like. The hashtag #neda was adopted by protesters in her honor.
Government use of Twitter
As Twitter became increasingly popular, fake accounts and suspected plants were soon found spreading propaganda and false news. Many theorized that the government was now using Twitter too, trying to track down political protesters and spread misinformation to the media and protesters.
The future of Twitter
The Iranian protesters and political activists worldwide used Twitter from the very beginning to spread news and reports of dangerous areas, build solidarity, and alert the world to what was going on when the Iranian government clamped down on the media.
This use of the innovative social networking site will probably be repeated as other political protests break out in the future, either in Iran or in other countries. It may even be a routine way of accessing news and updates from around the world soon!
Twitter is obviously a valuable tool for more than internet marketing and everyday events; it probably saved the lives of some activists, and may well continue to do so in the future.
